The Road to the Floor
The Main Event is Alpha Fit Club’s brand-wide fitness competition — every studio, every level, one room. Two-person teams running side-by-side. Three divisions. Hundreds of teammates in the crowd. The same work you do in class, on an elevated stage. We built Alpha Games to be different. No months of specialized training. No qualifying gauntlet. The prep is the work you do every day. Show up to class, train with your coaches, train with the people next to you. Then come find out what it looks like when you let it rip.
The Workout
Seven stations, one continuous line. You and your partner trade off and keep moving — top to bottom, station to station, all the way to the line.
Three Divisions
Two-person / MM
Two-person / WW
Two-person / WM
Top 3 teams in each division take the prize
The Stage
American Dream Mall. Stage, DJ, MC, lights, vendors, recovery station, finish-line photos. Heats of 15–20 teams off every 15 minutes from the first wave to the last. Top 3 in each division take the prize.
The Bigger Idea
We’re in the business of building more confident communities. The Main Event is the loudest version of that.
Grit and smiles and somebody you’ve never met screaming your name on the final sprint. You don’t have to be the fastest in the room. You just have to toe the line.
We’ll see you on the floor.
FAQs
The biggest day on the Alpha Fit Club calendar. 900 teams. 1,800 athletes. One arena. On Saturday, October 3rd, the entire Pack descends on American Dream for a head-to-head team race — the moment every class you’ve taken this year has been building toward.
Saturday, October 3, 2026 at American Dream (East Rutherford, NJ). Competition kicks off at 7:00 AM and runs all day.
Alpha Fit Club members, 18 and older. That’s it. This one’s for the Pack.
If you take Alpha classes, you’re training for this right now. There are four fitness levels — Elite, Advanced, Intermediate, and Beginner — so there is a lane for every athlete in every studio. You don’t need to be the fastest. You just need to show up with a partner.
Saturday, August 1st at 12:00 PM EST. Spots are first come, first serve — no exceptions, no holds. When 900 teams are in, we’re full. No waitlist.
$150 per team for the first 300 teams, $170 per team after that. One more reason to be ready at noon on August 1st.
Performance-grade finisher tee, finisher medal, professional finisher photos, post-race hydration, and access to the athlete recovery lounge. Tee sizing is first come, first serve.
Download the Alpha Games Main Event app (linked right here on this page). One teammate — your team captain — registers both athletes, selects your division and fitness level, and submits payment. Your partner then receives a confirmation link to download the app and complete their info.
Yes. Teams register together — you can’t hold a spot solo and find a partner later. Can’t find a partner? Ask your coaches; they know exactly who’s looking.
Absolutely. Any AFC member, any studio.

Elite, Advanced, Intermediate, and Beginner. Each level comes with sample finishing times in the app to help you and your partner self-select honestly. They’re a guide, not a gate.
Totally fine. Pick the level that fits your team and we’ll slot you into a wave that makes sense.
You already know it: 1000m Ski · 60 Thrusters · 80cal Bike · 50 Med Ball Sit-Ups · 1000m Row · 60 Burpees · 1 Mile ARC Curved Treadmill Run. Split the work between partners however you want. Thrusters: 25 lb dumbbells (men), 15 lb dumbbells (women). Med ball sit-ups: 14 lb ball for everyone.
New this year: every Elite team races with a dedicated judge counting reps and holding movement standards. Full standards will be published ahead of the event. All other waves race with the coach support the Pack knows and loves.
Waves run by fitness level, fastest to slowest. Heat times are assigned (not requested) and published in the app on September 19th.
Top 3 teams in each division hit the podium — plus age-group podiums in every division: 18–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60+, based on your team’s average age on race day. Podium teams take home a race flag and prizes including an AFC VIP class photoshoot and a first look at future competition formats.
Yes. Our coaches will be on the floor to support and scale. Reach out early so we’re ready for you.
60–90 minutes before your heat. Doors open for competitors at 6:00 AM; first-wave athletes can enter warm-up at 6:30 AM. Your flow: check in → bag drop (optional) → warm up 30 minutes out → athlete briefing in the tunnel 10 minutes before your wave → race.
Whatever you bring to an Alpha class — water, sweat towel, your game face. Bag check is right next to the warm-up area, and the competitor arena has private bathrooms.
Medal. Hydration. Finisher photos. Recovery lounge. Then head upstairs and cheer like crazy — you’ll want to make a full day of it.
The Main Event app runs a near-live leaderboard all day. Finisher photos land in your inbox via link within about 24 hours.
You can’t race solo, so lock in a transfer before September 19th if there’s any doubt. Don’t be that team.
How early you arrive is up to you. Once your wave starts, you’re either present or you miss it.
You will not race.
Yes — and you should. Spectators are free. Friends, family, kids (with supervision), all welcome.
The 2nd floor overlooks the entire competition floor — the best seats in the house. Floor-level cheering is welcome too.
The official Alpha Games merch store (open to everyone), a beer garden, vendors and activations throughout the day, and podium ceremonies overlooking the arena. Downstairs is the athletes’ domain: warm-up zone, bag check, and recovery lounge.
Parking is validated. Full instructions coming before race day.
